What happened to GeoOp
GeoOp was acquired by The Access Group and has been discontinued as a standalone product. New signups are closed, and existing customers have been directed to migrate to Tradify. If you were a happy GeoOp user, the choice was made for you.
Why the forced move to Tradify hasn't fit everyone
Tradify is a capable tool for sole traders and small residential crews, but many ex-GeoOp customers running commercial work have found the fit awkward:
- Linear quote → job → invoice model. No native concept of a maintenance contract with recurring visits against a fixed asset register.
- Per-user pricing that rewards keeping techs off the software.
- Re-keying data — imports vary in fidelity and often leave photos, custom fields and job history behind.
What FieldOp does differently
